Things I Love…

Here are a few of the things that taste great and make my life in the kitchen easier.  Let me know your thoughts and finds on my blog "Chat with Gigi".

Norpro Garlic Peeler

My new favorite gadget cost me $4.50. It's a small rubber mat that peels the skin off garlic when you roll it up with a few cloves of garlic inside it. AMAZING!

Cuisinart Steamer (8 Cup)

This reliable steamer is big enough to cook enough grains for dinner with leftovers but small enough that it doesn't take up to much storage space.

Nalgene Containers

These containers come in various sizes and are leak proof. Use them in your lunch box as an alternative to messy salad dressing containers. I like the one ounce size. Just fill them up and go. No need to waste time measuring.

Donkey Brand Tortilla Chips

They are gluten free, crisp and incredibly tasty. They aren't organic but are preservative free.  All in all a win!

Ancient Harvest Quinoa Pastas

Hands down the best brand of gluten free pastas I tasted to date. The pasta doesn't get mushy, tastes great and comes in tons of shapes and sizes.

OXO Brand Lazy Susan

I have the 15" version on the middle shelf of my refrigerator. It makes for quick and easy access to several items at one time and the bonus: You won't ever lose those tiny jars again. Be sure the one you buy has a lip around it (important so jars don't go sliding off when your kids spin it).
